A New Day Begun in Giving to Morehouse College

Our annual events include:

Annual alumni & friends maroon & white ball/gala aimed to expand network of college supporters and to increase need and merit based financial assistance provided to enrolled students.

State and regional workshops designed to educate and inform alumni & friends about the state of the college, student, departmental, alumni, and institutional accomplishments, as well as state, regional, and national college rankings.

Partnership with chapters of the National Morehouse College Alumni Association to increase the percentage of alumni who give to the Morehouse College annually and provide professional mentorship for enrolled students

Campus symposiums and colloquiums

that inform the Morehouse College community (faculty, staff, students) and potential community supporters about ways to improve the Morehouse College collegiate experience and national profile

Support of student recruitment fairs

Sponsorship of city, state, and regional student recruitment fairs/gatherings that heighten the name and brand recognition of Morehouse College and increase the number of qualified prospective students that annually apply to the college.


The Maroon & White Fund seeks:

To support the educational mission, vision, fiscal goals and objectives of Morehouse College through social and cultural fundraising signature events

To provide a platform for Morehouse College officials to showcase institutional successes and host potential donors via state, regional, and national outreach efforts designed to increase the college’s endowment, as well as facilitate capital campaign initiatives and yearly fundraising goals.

To enhance the overall profile of Morehouse College by expanding the network of alumni, friends, and supporters who contribute to the college on a frequent and sustained basis
